"In 2017 I suffered a severe foot injury due to an exploding u-joint while qualifying a USAS Silver Crown Car at Eldora Speedway during the 4-Crown Nationals. The chronic pain and long recovery period left me unable to walk, work, or return to a normal family life for a better part of a year. The support, positive thoughts, and acts of kindness from the USAC Community were breathtaking and beyond my expectations.
